'Surroundings' compiles recordings from videos I shot and from a mixing console, as well as the sound of water (the sea, the river, rivers), the sound of cheerful voices singing in a Greek restaurant, or that of famous singers. Every time I listen to this collage, I remember where that flowing water comes from.
The piece was broadcast on Clyde Built Radio, Thursday 19th March, [UK] and Radio alHara, Saturday 21st March, [Palestine], part of wider programming for Glasgow International 2026.
